Jim Van Zanten is active in development of very fine houses, townhomes and apartments. He has participated in the designing and building of over 60 single-family homes, townhouses and apartment units. Jim has been involved in real estate in the South Bay since 1976, and wears many real estate hats. Jim is also Co-President of South Bay Brokers, one of the most successful real estate brokerages in southern California, South Bay Brokers comprises 120 highly professional Realtors in two offices and is ranked #11 in total sales in LA County; South Bay Brokers has been #1 in per-agent production for over twelve years in LA County. Jim is an active community member.

Jim has been active in the real estate industry for 28 years and has sold over a thousand properties himself.  His keen insight into the industry extends to his growing real estate investment and development companies, Marine View Management and Tree Section, Inc., respectively.  Most recently, he launched e-escrows.com, inc., an independent escrow company embracing new technologies and led by Jean Van Zanten, his wife and partner.

Over the course of his career, Jim has earned the Realtor of the Year award and has served as Regional Vice President of the California Association of Realtors, as well as President of the South Bay Association of Realtors.   He graduated magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, with a degree in Economics from UCLA, where he also earned his MBA with concentrations in Real Estate and Finance.  He is a licensed real estate broker and escrow holder in the State of California, and is a member of the California Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.

David J. White specializes in property acquisition and residential development in the Beach Cities of Southern California’s South Bay.  Also a partner in the real estate team of David & Laura at South Bay Brokers, Inc., of Manhattan Beach, CA, David is a California real estate licensee.  Through Van Zanten & White Development, David is presently the owner and developer of several active residential real estate projects.

A long time general management and strategy advisor, David White has helped numerous corporate boards, executives, and entrepreneurs excel as leaders and successfully address their most challenging issues and opportunities in the employ of McKinsey & Co., Inc., and as an independent consultant. A change agent and problem solver, David has held senior leadership roles in businesses ranging from start-ups to multinational corporations.

David completed the Corporate Director's Training Program at UCLA’s Anderson Graduate School of Management (2000) and received both a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (summa cum laude, 1978) and an MBA (1984) from the University of Southern California.  He obtained CPA certification early in his career and is a member of the Urban Land Institute, the Los Angeles World Affairs Council, the National Association of Realtors, the California Association of Realtors, and the American Institute of CPA’s.

David is a Board member of the Manhattan Village Homeowner's Association. He loves being the dad of a great 12-year old son, the husband of a great lady, and an active member of the Manhattan Beach community.
